Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 1/1A
The Patek Philippe Reference 5711/1A Nautilus is a classic elegant sports watch. The inspiration for the Nautilus comes from the universal shape of a porthole found on virtually all maritime vessels. The Ref. 5711/1A in steel, has a case diameter of 43mm, one millimeter larger than the original Nautilus Ref. 3700/1. It's dial displays the hours, minutes, sweep seconds and the date in a window at 3 o'clock.
The Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A has a three part case with a sapphire crystal back. The Caliber 324 S C self-winding movement can be viewed through the exhibition back. The Caliber 324 S C movement is powered by an extra-heavy 21Kt gold center rotor. The movement runs at a frequency of 4 hertz (28,800 semi-oscillations per hour). This assures a high rate of accuracy.
