Harry Winston Ocean Diver Chronograph
Description
Harry Winston Ocean Diver Chronograph
The newest dive timepiece from luxury watch maker Harry Winston is a chronograph version of the Ocean Diver from the exalted brand. Over the last few years Harry Winston has been releasing timepieces that are both complex and intriguing, as well as sporty and sophisticated. Another interesting point regarding Harry Winston watches is their use of an alloy metal known as Zalium. The metal formula is property of Harry Winston and only used on their watches. The alloy is mainly a mixture of aluminum and zirconium. Zalium is of course used on the Harry Winston Ocean Diver Chronograph.
The watch comes in two varieties of both 18k rose or white gold as part of the 44mm wide cases – with Zalium as well. The strap is rubber making for a true sports timepiece. The case design is unique but obviously in the fashion of a dive watch. The signature crown claws are there as well as a highly functional dial. The automatic chronograph movement also includes the date and is laid out in a tri-compax array. Harry Winston visually separates the chronograph dials to make them easy to read. The seconds subdial uses the standard quad blade like logo as used on other Harry Winston watches. Hands are lume covered and easy to read. Harry Winston did a good job of making the Ocean Diver Chronograph both sporty and luxurious
